Smartechnium Group is aiming to conduct research and development activities across a broad range of scientific topics in both fundamental and applied science. The research group consists of versatile academicians specialized on different disciplines ranging from electromagnetic field theory, computational electromagnetics and microwave technique upto machnine learning, deep learning and AI assisted component, sensor design. Many projects in the group are collaborative efforts between different national and international research groups and faculty students. Applied research includes the design of microwave frequency selective structures, bioimplantable antennas, RF energy harvesting systems, high power microwave probe, Shape Memory Alloy based metallic MIMO antenna for smart home appliances. Fundamental research is principally concentrated on developing smart RF/microwave components dedicated to be used in IoT systems with custom in-house software development.
